Rocky Mountain Big Horn - 18x24 - Digital Painting - 2022

I created a process under my mYOUrals brand where I can turn regular boring glass windows and doors into a faux stained glass, but, because I'm not actually limited by the physical construction of traditional stained glass, I'm able to be a little more abstract with the imagery.

This Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep was created as an experiment to see what variations on the theme of stained glass could look like. The experiment went well and inspired a new series of breaking down animals and scenes into geometric constructions while playing with color. A brown animal on a forest-y green background is boring when blue makes the ram pop from the canvas.
