Yellow Dun - 16x24 - Abstract Digital Painting - 2022
I continue to experiment with abstract depictions of horses as a palette cleanser of sorts. Why horses? Horses are pretty damn amazing from an evolution/intelligent design perspective. The perfect beast of burden sized just right to fit between a human's legs.
Regarding the debate between which is right, evolution or intelligent design, I think the answer is clear and the same in this specific situation as it is in probably all others - they are both sort of right. As stated before, the horse and human fit like PB and J, but the evolution of the horse was undoubtedly influenced by humans for thousands of years.
The argument between science and religion is one of the silliest things about humanity because they are two sides of the same coin.
Broken down to something simple... There are six fundamental questions one can ask of anything in the universe. Who? What? When? Where? How? and Why? The answers to the first five are scientific in nature. The answer to Why? is always spiritual. If you don't have all six answers, you can never fully understand anything.
Aside from that, here's a horse...
