It has been my experience that human beings, with all they brainpower, useful digits, technological advancements, and everything else that comes with being a human, really does very little to distinguish us from the rest of the animal kingdom. Sometimes I curse our advancements when my mind lingers on the idea of a bull and cow elk occupying their lives with simple pursuits away from all the ugliness of progress.
